For the world’s biggest stage in sports, we helped build a bespoke Stars and Stripes-inspired number system that gives the entire U.S. National Team Kit Collection a unified typographic voice: bold, distinct and unmistakably American.

The numbers are derived from Unity, the custom typeface family developed for the U.S. Soccer Federation by world-renowned type designer Marc Rouault, in collaboration with U.S. Soccer and our design team here at McCann. Every digit extends the federation’s visual language directly onto the field.

We are incredibly proud to see these numbers take the field at the 2026 World Cup. It’s an honor to have contributed design that will be worn by the players and seen by hundreds of millions of fans around the world.
