Mastercard brand is built around the central belief that everyone, everywhere, deserves to live a richer life, and to be accepted for who they are.
For the past 25 years, Mastercard has been a brand that has been accepted in more places than any other card. The idea of Acceptance has a double meaning, and as a brand, they were uniquely positioned to champion the progressive side of Acceptance.
They wanted to bring their brand belief to life in a new way, so we help launched #AcceptanceMatters campaign which has championed their belief that all people, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, etc., deserve to be accepted for who they are.
A visual system was developed to makes Black and Brown members feel more integrated and welcomed to the community. The heartbeats of multiple colors are designed under the concept: Love is Love
Campaign Look & Feel
True Name
For many in the LGBTQIA+ community, the name on their credit, debit or prepaid card does not reflect their true identity, causing painful daily reminders of a conflict between their true name and the name on their card. In 2019, we worked to ease this pain point by creating True Name, a first of its kind feature that makes secure payments truly safe for all.
